Born, raised and Marketing trained in Toronto, I have been a proud Vancouverite since 1991; working and living in various neighbourhoods of the Metro Vancouver area.
Upon arrival, I sensed this world-class city was going through a sort of ‘puberty’. Little did I know that growth spurt wouldn't really start for another 10 years.
While working with contemporary and Tech-Savvy marketing systems to fill needs with our Clients best interest in mind, Janine and I noticed a lack of focus on specific areas of Real Estate marketing. Buyers were not finding the representation they needed for the neighbourhoods they wanted, and Sellers were not getting the exposure for their homes they expected.
So we went to work on updating our online presence, focussing on a micro-market (Niche Marketing) and updating our education to include SRES (Senior’s Specialisation), Strata Law Specialisation (first-time Buying and "Upsizing"), Relocation Specialization (for our ‘New to the Area’) buyers, and Contract Negotiation/Multiple Offers Specialisation.
I know this to be true; with Janine as my partner, we can offer you a more well-rounded Top-Tier Real Estate experience that will have you excited about your choice of HudsonHomeTeam and our services.

I am a BC girl through and through. I was born in Nanaimo, spent my young childhood in logging camps on Northern Vancouver Island and moved to Port Moody when I was seven.
I have lived everywhere from Kerrisdale to Port Moody, Point Grey to Fairview and Kitsilano to Surrey with a hiatus in Europe and almost 2 years in Toronto. I am now enjoying the truly sublime White Rock Peninsula.
I am proud and pleased to be a Fifth Generation British Columbian.
My Mom grew up in the Interior of BC and my Dad is from Vancouver Island. The first of my relatives to arrive here was my great, great, Grandfather John Newell Evans in the mid-1800’s, my Grandpa Payne rode the rails out here from the prairies during the Great Depression and my Great Grandpa Leibscher moved here from Austria to escape oppression. All of my ancestors moved here seeking a better life for them and their families; this is still the predominant motivation for people who move here.
I tell you this to underline my knowledge of this region; I love Metro Vancouver with a passion and truly believe that it is the best place on Earth to live.
My education begins with a BFA in Theatre from the University of British Columbia. I spent a year travelling through Europe and the Middle East. Once back, and a couple of more years at UBC, I came to realise my true joy came from the work that had put me through school; working with people. I gained invaluable customer-service skills that can only be learned working in such top-tier companies as the Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts.
Two important credos have always stayed with me:
One is:“Always exceed the expectations of the client”.
“I have to say that the expectations of a guest at a Four Seasons Hotel are always extremely high, but we were always looking for ways to go above and beyond.”
The second was a quote by famed architect and designer Ludwig Mies van der Rohe:
“God is in the details”.
The details are what separate levels of success.
My community involvement has included rescue work with the Vancouver City Pound, Cross our Paws Rescue, the Vancouver SPCA, CoastalFC and co-creating the original “An Evening with Diana Krall” fundraising events for the Leukemia and Bone Marrow Transplant Program at VGH.
