I made the unconscious decision to pursue a career in Real Estate at the age of 19. The conscious decision came some two decades later, after developing my skills in various sales, marketing and service industries. My appreciation and enjoyment for architecture; simple, functional and complex, has developed significantly over those years.
Moving to Vancouver 20 years ago was one of the biggest and most important decisions I ever made. I not only discovered a city that promotes a greater balance in life, but also met my wife, with whom I started a family here in Metro Vancouver.
I enjoy pick-up hockey with my boys, writing about anything other than myself, discovering new music and keeping the aroma of garlic permeating the walls of my kitchen. I’ve made several unsuccessful and a few successful attempts at sourdough baking. I can be overheard at the poker table saying things like: “Andrew dislikes bingo, but enjoys speaking in third person” – I think it psych’s out my opponents. Although I still talk to myself from time to time, I have evolved to the point where I answer back less often than I did in my youth. I enjoy becoming more involved in my community.
I try to be ‘up’ on marketing technology, social media and discovering how ‘outside the box’ technology can be utilized to create a Real Estate Marketing Plan that differentiates us from the pack.
I like to believe that my sense of humour has allowed me to serve our clients better and create relationships that will last a lifetime, although I’ve been told it’s actually my wife’s charisma and hospitable way. I know, as well, that my passion for providing great people with great service has shone through to those whom I have worked so diligently for.
Utilizing my years of experience in sale, marketing and customer service, and learning from the top-tier standards of my wife/partner, I am confident that I have met and exceeded and will continue to the expectations of my clientele over the years.
I consider client relationship referrals to have been paramount to the success of our business.
Alongside Janine, I have been passionate about dog rescue, overseeing the raising of our two spectacular boys and I revel in the devoted attention of our rescued Black Lab, Kona. Our focus is on building and contributing to the community in what we feel is the best place on earth. We are both committed to providing the best service and team package that our combined knowledge and skills can offer.
